This week’s Weekly Want is more than a commodity. It’s an ideology of a company focused on creating one thing and creating it well.
Hiut Denim was born out of necessity. After the local denim manufacturer closed it left 400 people in a town of 4,000 jobless. Factory gone, it couldn’t being with it their lifelong skill. Local’s created Hiut to continue tradition, keep the skill alive and bring vibrancy back to their community. Creating the truest jeans, and just that, Hiut is out to change the denim industry.
Manufacturing only 100 pairs of jeans a week. Sourcing organic denim from Turkey. And listening to their customer’s stories. The values and quality behind Hiut denim make the top for this week’s Weekly Want.
“The things that define you are not just the things that you do, but the things you say no to.
Saying no is focus.
We only make jeans. We say no to anything else.
Be narrow. Be good.”
