T Magazine’s Perfect DIY Face Mask

Spa_Treatment Ladies, pampering is key.

In our fast world, we’ve got to take time for ourselves–put down the work and unwind.

Yoga, spending time with friends, a glass of wine, a hot bath, whatever makes us happy and feel liberated from work stress.

This DIY Face Mask uses kitchen ingredients to rejuvenate your lovely visage. Make away!

Ingredients

1/2 avocado.

Vitamin K helps relieve redness and dark under-eye circles, while fatty acids hydrate and plump the skin.

1 egg white.

This will refine and tighten the pores, preventing breakouts.

1/4 cup cooked oatmeal, cooled and then mashed with enough water to achieve a nice, soft consistency.

Oatmeal is soothing for skin, especially for a bad sunburn. This takes the redness away and calms any inflammation, including that caused by breakouts.

1/2 banana.

Its Vitamin C, B6 and potassium are great for the lymphatic system and for hydrating.

Mix all ingredients together and chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes before applying the entire mask to the face.

While your face mask is setting, hop into a relazing bath and enjoy this DIY Body Scrub too!
